India has no chance against Laos as long as Chutyastine is Coach.

Laos were humiliated in their group, we should win this but, we have been inconsistent and it will be a tight affair is what I think.

Where is Anas? Arnab Mondal in his current form won't do. Also our full backs have been shit even in domestic football, Kotal and Narayan Das. Lobo needs to play 90 mins and so does Udanta. Jackie and Haokip had a decent run in I-League, they should be preferred over Nazary and Passi.

Anas is still recovering from injury

Anas is hopeless...always injured...looked good in a league where you don't have to defend properly  ( before we get all the ISL vs. I-League nonsense...understand what I mean by defences sitting deep etc *)

Arnab is used to smashing the ball forward in the hope of some Nigerian bringing it down...he is not comfortable on the ball...and never will be.

Augustin has a spare tyre around his waste and unless he loses it...he has no hope. The Titanic turns quicker than him.

Aiborlang..another injury patient. Saving himself for ISL.  Lacks strength and pace at international level BUT the best on the ball and with his reading of the game.  Should be adequate for Lao

JHINGAN spends more time on the ground and diving into tackles because of his horrendous positioning.  Good in the air..but the quick Lao wingers will cause problems for leagues most over rated player

None of the younger defenders are ready to step up to the challenge....so no pictures even talking about Nim Dorjee, Salam Ranjan Singh, Chingelsena, Pawan Kumar or any others.

Full backs are not an issue in my opinion...we have enough and more to choose from

What is the record of India against Laos? Or it will be first ever meeting between the two nations?

Does laos have any firang who has been given citizenship to play for NT?
If no then we have a physicality advantage.
However we are surely the slowest Back 5 in the continent with poor quality full backs to make up for pace.

We need to sit deep keep it tight and hit em on the counter with sunil playing in CAM to spread the ball to the wings. We need to have Udanta,Vineet, Romeo, Seityasen, Jackichand or even Changte to take advantage of the pace.
We lack target men up top and Jeje isnt one, Might as well have balwant up top to make a nuisance and close them down quickly to retain possession. A shout for Udanta or Jackichand to play at the top? good dribbling skills and pace as well. think about it?

Still not convinced about Eugenson at international level, Doesnt have the sharpness to play a quick passing tempo, Gets bogged down when you double team him.
In BFC he gets time on the ball hence the kind of control you can see from him, But decent long shot attempts as well as corner taking ability could help.
In a way if you setup for a counter attacking shape, Arnab?s kick it head it role will be ok.
How about that Z ralte from DSK? Seems to have pace at the back which we need somewhere in the back 2. Not sure on his positional sense or tackling ability though.

Augustin and pritam should nowhere be near this squad.
