    Laos Coaching Staff boasts the names of Steve Dearby and David Booth, people who know Indian Football very well. Supposedly good coach Ashley Westwood lost very badly in Laos recently with BFC.
    For India, proper Team selection should be the key. Our players will be coming at the end of the season.

    With the mess of a domestic season and a shallow pool of 80 odd players....there is no point....any sensible coach would sense it in a few months..if and when we become serious about NT with a sorted out domestic season, is when we can ask these questions

    If you dont select the best available players, the mess in domestic calendar, etc doesnt even matter. The calendar, I-League Vs ISL issues arent the reason why Sumit Passi and Holicharan Nazary are getting selected match after match. I suspect either there is some illicit sexual relations between them and SC or they are bribing with money.

    There are loads of better NT where domestic structure and player pool is not even half as quality as ours despite a packed domestic schedule.

    I lay blame squarely on a lacklustre tactical quality of the coach. Absolutely no aggression at all despite having a very young squad to choose from.

    We need a coach well versed with our domestic structure. He has to be Indian and Khalid jamil won't be a bad shout IMO or even Derrick Pereira given his experience.
    If aiff really wants a foreigner, it has to be Westwood.
    SC was inducted just to make sure quota players were reserved of a place in the squad.
