Kalyani too is relaying its grass. Most probably it will be Barasat that will be in use. But it's India so I don't expect the work to finish within 3 months. Especially now that the 2015 IFA Shield is expected to be held in May.
A newly laid grass turf needs a full monsoon or equivalent amount watering to settle down. AIFF should get the Ambedkar ready, its ideal for the NT to play home games when packed to brim.

APRIL
Remove exiating turf and dig 4 to 6 feet of surface underneath the field.
MAY
Create the new sub base & lay down drainage system ..simultaneously raising the level of the ground.
JUNE
Lay seeds and start process of growing the field.
Ofcourse we hope the weather is as prompt as the West Bengal Govt in this matter....
Short cut of bringing in pre-prepared turf is poasible but escalates costs to 4 fold..
The field can only be ready to play hy August if you go with the expensive 2nd option
