quinton will be gr8 for USFC as he was our best player during second div. he used to our play maker but the need of the hour for USFC is a potent striker not a midfielder but if he replaces salau that will be fabulous.
Agree that the biggest need is a striker so why get a midfielder? I wont make a concrete judgement on Quinton as I have only watched Salgaocar a few times in the I-League this season but when I did I only noticed Quinton playing in 1 game and even in that game he was mispassing and running into akward positions. Other than that he was invisable and sometimes slowed down play.
United Sikkim can do better. Salau is a good player to have on the bench. You guys already have a good midfielder in John Landa and defender/midfielder in Michael Rodrigues and the Indian players like Sadesh, Linekar, Nima etc are looking very good. You guys should look to use your Asian player on a striker who can start if you guys can.

Govin, Daniel Bidemi, Quinten Jacobs,Renedy, Sushil Singh , Thoi Singh ,Basant Singh(GK) , and even Nim Lepcha (captain) wanted to leave in January transfer window : the reason.... non-payment and unprofessional staff.

The players might have all had standard FPAI contracts, but what use is it if it is not honored !?
The Fed & Durand Cup will be a real test of how far they have come since then. Taking talented youngsters by having regional trials is a great concept ... for an Academy like TFA but not for a Pro-team in the 1st season of I-League.
I'd be very surprised if USFC get more points than HAL did last season !!
At this rate we could have no teams from the NorthEast again, unless RWFC and Aizawl qualify.
Aizawl will be very strong in 2years , they have just picked up the top 18-20yr olds in the state

Replace who? Either Salau or Michael. I am guessing Salau as Michael is the captain.
Quinton is too slow. He was the weak link at Salgaocar in midfield. Add to it that he cant last for 90 min.
