but the final point is right....
The best thing USFC , SLFC and Sporting can hope for, is that ONGC and Air India end up mid table & that Mohun Bagan remain in the relegation zone.
As AIFF have clearly shown they don't want to lose Mohun Bagan form the I-League , then if Mohun Bagan are in bottom 2 , they will remove the 2 PSU's and make it a 16 team league next season.

Listen if United Sikkim stay in the league and somehow fix the organization in the summer then I would be happy but if there was no chance then get rid of them. You even said it for the 2nd Division. Yes there are 60 teams but how many would you call professional?
It all stinks right now and its no wonder that Indian football is still in this bad state of affairs.
whats the big deal..if not MB maybe the schedule would have had him play another team..its his bad luck so many players are injured..could be their fitness levels is not so high
atleast AIFF should have consulted USFC first about the fixture.
i think they asked MB-->''hey pay us 2cr and we will lift your ban and you get arrange your remaining fixtures as you want''.
MB officials-->'' sure deal done, here are your 2cr and we would play USFC on 24th day.their these players are not fully unfit while that one is out for week or two''.

jokes apart i think USFC have probably fallen short on fitness....
“I'm bringing in a player next week, and another the week after. I'll sign them directly. I've got no time for trials. I need players who can come in now and be counted for and do a job" -Nathan Hall
Philippe De Ridder thought that his team will as much help from aiff in i-league what they were getting in the 2nd div. thats why he gone for very very low budgnt team to save money.
i can't even say that aiff isn't helping them in i-league. actualy aiff trying their best to not let usfc go down to 2nd div where they belong at the moment.

United Sikkim FC coach Nathan Hall sarcastically applauds the AIFF for a mid-week fixture against Mohun Bagan

It's not fair they have 8 players injured add to that no anwar and no jhingan. Bagan will surely take advantage of this match.
