I wish Bharat FC had $1 billion dollars. They would have arranged practice matches for these idle players against tough teams before November pre-season.
Interestingly 3 of the four clubs are british... that just shows what could be the problem in current approach of all star and pretty less grass-root work.. which could result in the ISL clubs always needed to depend of ISL academy to feed their players to these clubs who have to pay some hefty amounts along with foreign stars who would be looking for one final bumper
Technically speaking most Indian clubs are "bankrupt" Given how little the I-League offers in terms of return on investment. ..no Bank would loan the oind of amounts foreign clubs can get... most I-League Clubs have almost zero assets, with KBFC having no long term player contracts....no training ground...no stadium..
.just a team bus and some apartments in Koregaon Park ( probably under Bharat Forge guesthouses)
Before starting a club every team should buy a training ground and a space for office. Aiff can't give permission to each and every club which are willing to pay 3 crores / year. Instead of paying 3 crores they can come through 2ndivision, with a proper training ground, youth academy.
There are moles in every corporate who give BS suggestions, in this case>> start a FC, its sexy and cheap in India that too I league....But one who owns should have passion for the Game... JSW has one.. running a Football club in India you need balls of passion #:-S
