If I am not wrong we had a very good pool of stoppers, Stanly Colaco (Remain loyal to Dempo and never played for NT probably), Rock Barreto (Salgaonkar and EB, instrumental for EB's 1st ever NFL victory under Manoranjan, his partner was Samshi Reja / Anit Ghosh mosthly both from 1st batch of TFA), Naushad Musha (RB), Iliash Pash (EB), Dulal Biswas (RB). But no one matched VPS's stature. Achintya Belel was VPS's partner in NT. Amit Bhadra was brilliant in MB but played for NT for a very short period.
