    In afc competitions, they won't be able to field as many foriegners as they want like isl,so one can forget about dominating asia.

    Isl will be a cash rich second tier. Only in India it is possible. Bigger names will play in 2nd tier.

    Top tier or Bottom tier will be decided by AFC norms....they will follow certain rules & regulations before granting or rejecting ISL's official status. If it was so easy AFC would have given Pappu the nod for the 3rd. AFC slot. Pappu himself doesn't know what will happen, IMG-R thinks they can "manage" everything by a well-known method, but AFC is fully aware of the repercussions. Thus the status quo hotch-potch will stay & Pappu will continue to say I-League is the Top League only to go to Aunty & apologise for that. This Game will go on....till AFC holds AIFF by the scruff of its neck & throw them to the Suspension bin.

    @shubham_northeastern ; At present I-League winner get ACL playoff and after failing to qualify for ACL drops back to AFC Cup. One more spot is reserved for Federation Cup winner in AFC Cup.

    Now as AFC and AIFF recognise I-league as top league of India, the winner of I-league goes to ACL Playoff and subsequently AFC Cup.  Instead of Federation cup winner direct slot at AFC Cup, Super Cup winner is given direct slot at AFC Cup.

    Now it remains to be seen if or how Super Cup will include ISL Franchises? Super Cup will have I-league clubs for sure. To play in Super Cup, AIFF will need to give 2nd or 3rd division status to ISL or ISL clubs can enter there separately after granted temporary National Criteria from AIFF making them eligible for AFC Cup atleast !!!!
