6 clubs in ISL are run from Mumbai( Ambanis) u guys think they'll get closed

I would rather believe a genuine guy like Marcus who says Tata and BFC + 8 ISL teams next season, doesn't mention big 2
Than the Bengali media which gives a new story every two days

@ArsenalFan700: 'Recognised' is an alternative spelling, though 'recognized' is used more often...if we all started correcting each and every grammatical mistake, we would become grammar Nazis instead of football fans trying to create interest in the game in this country...we have seen reports or posts which have been far worse grammatically than that report...I myself have posted some of them without correcting them because I have felt that they provide us with some insight.. almost all the Xtratime reports are horrible as far as grammar are concerned, but I post them when I find that in spite of errors, the message has been conveyed...correcting some of these mistakes would take a hell of a lot of time...this time could better be used in fruitful discussions about football...this is not a forum for flaunting one's credentials in English, though I would be the first to admit that grammatical English should be used as far as possible...and another thing, no one in this forum has been immune from making grammatical mistakes, from IFN legends to English professors..as far as I have seen in these two years...nothing wrong in that as we are all fallible
Point out where the "reporter" is obviously biased...that would be the sane thing to do

I agree with @ArsenalFan700 that this feverpitch article is difficult to believe-just a shot in the dark.

In an effort to allay the fears of the owners, Nita Ambani and her team will be holding a meeting with them in London tomorrow. The meeting will decide the number of teams who want to stay in the ISL as well as the number of new teams that will be considered for the next edition. The officials will then make a trip to Kuala Lumpur to attend the Asian Football Confederation meeting on 7th July, in which, apparently, ISL will be officially recognised by the continent’s governing body.

    1) How can they decide the number of new teams? The bidding documents have been processed already? Ernst and Young said something like they need 10-15 days to process the bids and also AFC has asked them not to open the ISL bids/documents until June 7th meeting.

    2) How can the writer be so sure that ISL will be recognised on 7th July ?? It is June not july, yet the article says July.

  • i have this feeling, this meeting will be as usual like others(conclusion less) and they might say we need more time to discuss... I am already keeping my mind on India's 2 friendlies (pity I wont be able to travel to those  :( )

Kolkata: Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan had their “dress rehearsal” today at an aristrocrat club at Kolkata before heading towards the all important meeting at Kuala Lumpur on 7th June. Both the Kolkata teams have come to a decision with the IFA to go with seperate powerpoint presentations in the AFC meeting with the same pinch of claiming for a single league instead of two. After the meeting with the IFA, the East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said, “We want to have a single league and not two seperate leagues in Indian football. We might go with seperate presentations but our point of focus is very much the same. We will try to include the heritage of the two historic clubs.”

The AIFF Vice-President Subrata Dutta also backed his support for the two Kolkata clubs as he said, “I also support the stand of the two Kolkata clubs as I strongly believe that there should always be a single league where all the clubs will be playing.” The Kolkata clubs have also stated their views on franchise fees as they said that they already pay a certain amount of money as “registration fees” to play the I-League and won’t pay any extra money to play the proposed new league.
The club officials of the Kolkata giants personally attacked Indian football legend Bhaichung Bhutia for the view he shared about Indian football on Sunday at a press conference. Debabrata Sarkar said, “Bhaichung thinks he knows everything about football. But the fact is that he has always been a selfish guy and had never thought beyond his personal interest.” Mohun Bagan official Debasish Dutta fumed in anger as he said, “Who is Bhaichung Bhutia? What is the significance of his words. If we have to give reactions to anyone’s comments from the FPAI, we will answer to the comments of Renedy Singh, not Bhaichung Bhutia.” He also added, “But I had a chat with Bhaichung for almost forty minutes yesterday, but he didn’t say anything like that to me.
On the other hand, Bhaichung replied in his usual fashion as he said, “I expressed my personal opinion and I have every right to do that. One needs to understand that I am not a footballer anymore and whatever I said, I said to eradicate the unemployment problem in Indian football.”
For those curious to know why some of the words have been italicized, it is because they contain grammatical mistakes, spelling mistakes, typos etc. Anyone who can point out out more errors are sure to earn 'likes' from me ;) :D

Baichang is not concerned about the unemployment problem. he want to sell as many players as possible from his agency. 2 leagues means he can sell more players.
