    This season, we are host to U-17 WC,... that could be the reason why both AFC and FIFA are playing soft... as you dont to play a WC in a country which you have banned recently...

    Hopefully we see some tough calls from them next season

    All going in IMG reliance and AIFF way. They will put some criteria next year , which is not affordable to most of I league teams. And then they will allocate all afc slots for that league

    Again we are reading too much into this.

    Two slots for Indian football one for the top league I-league and another for ISL which is the second league with a closed number of teams now.

    We have promotion and relegation with I league 2 to Top league.

    As a matter of fact the calendar is more clearer than last three seasons with longer leagues and parallel matches instead of having non stop football with the same players and confusing loan and player contracts.

    AFC are just bullshitting themselves while they kept
    quite for last three seasons.

    What of they make isl conference 1 and I league as conference 2 and top 4 play in super cup aka play off and winner take acl runner up take afc cup slot ..
    Then they can keep sidelining one conference as usual

    Conferences are made to deal with geographical/ time zone spread and not on payment (of Rs 15 crores).

    How about dividing teams in 2 conference .

    Teams located above Madhya pradesh in North and below South .
    Top 4 from both go for super cup .
    Inter conference FA cup 
    Winner of North and South conference play in India cup for AFC cl .

    If their is 1 league of 20 teams then we may end up with 

    Isl 20 teams , I league clubs would move up .
    IL 20 teams BFC and others move down  ;)
    Or the 3 option of rebranding to Indian premier football .
