And how much should the rank be to get a direct slot?

For direct slot in ACL we need to be atleast 6th in East Asia. This gives one slot to group stage and one qualifier spot. Currently we are 8th.

I f Indian Clubs perform better than Vietnamese and Malaysian Clubs in next AFC Cup, then 2018 season we will get one direct slot in AFC champions league just like Honkong.

And the funny thing is that if FSDL's plan of restructuring goes according to their plan, I-League clubs will play in AFC Competitions, which will be the 2nd Division then.
