All of the above are beatable. Hope we get valuable match experience plus ranking points from this tourney. Not sure of the ranking points though, because not all the matches would fall on FIFA match days.
@Deb_Ban My belief is that even if tournament dates of all the matches may not be on FIFA dates, those matches will still be counted for FIFA Match Rankings. It is just that on FIFA match dates, the clubs are obliged to release their players. The main problem in Tournament is that then stronger teams will send their Developmental Squads. African countries have their best players in European clubs who are released only for World/Continental Qualifiers or for few days before Friendly dates. India should carefully choose the opponents in order to get Ranking Boost.
You are right and that (sending developmental sides) is the thing I worry. In that scenario, the matches will lose the 'official friendly' tag. Though our team will have some match practice.
AIFF should get it officially written from the respective federations that they are obliged to send their official team or pay some pre-determined compensation if they fail to do so.
