Going to Coimbatore is a great move, this is uncharted territory for a national club to be playing in a tier 2 city in TN.

Amazing people, Great climate and hopefully good crowd.

Using Mumbai FC or Pune FC are not good examples. Just because they didn't change names after their moves doesn't mean they were right not to do so.

In I-league, you are never sure where you will be asked to move. Better stick to the original name.

Of course, changing names is not suggested. What I mean is Rohit should have been less ambitious than to go for Chennai as base. He could have been realistic and leave Chennai for Chennaiyin FC and settle for the second best, say Coimbatore. Nothing to be ashamed for that. As @Dx said, Coimbatore is a nice place to base a team, and they could flaunt the city name. No point being an 'also ran' in Chennai.

... and the jersey: it is plain, simple, bad jersey, though an improvement over last year. Green does not stand out against the turf, you need to sprinkle some bright colours in it. Just compare EB and MB jerseys.
