Great run by Indian men in 4x400 relay semifinals. Finished 2nd behind Jamaica after giving a tight competition to them . It is the second best timing in semi finals even better than Botswana who won from other semi final heats. Considering England out with DNF, and Nigeria disqualified we have an outside slim chance for a bronze. Have to really tight for that against Bhamas and Trinidad&Tobago. Botswana and Jamaica are from different planet as they are the sure bet for gold.

Gaurav came back really well after two countouts in the First Round.

He was caught off-guard but those Standing Counts shouldn't  have happened.Warning for him.

However,I still feel he has the Game to Win Gold.Needs to be Careful.

I just felt,he was over confident.

manish kaushik through to the finals in 60 kg boxing event , it was a very tight fight but kaushik was more of aggreser in the game and the irish boxer was dependingon counter punching , may be that lead the decision in Kaushik's favour by 4-1

@Bad , i don't think so he was over confident , the thing here was bandara knew he can't beat solanki on points so with every punch he was going for a kill for the knockout ,  i think so solanki didn't hv the power and physique to stand up to those punches , he got knocked out 2 times and was  shook twice in 2nd and 3rd round , so it was shear power right hand of bandara rather than over confidence (that's what i think)
