Though the last 2 were not Indonesia's strong point but they were added due to Indonesia's sabotage. When Indonesia was sabotaging the program, some other Asian countries (Uzbekistan, Kazkhastan and UAE) took advantage of it and added their own sports while in return Indonesia got to add their own sports. @trojan ; IOA has axed participants from Pencak Silat after allegations of Fake Credentials emerged. Actually main competition in Penkac Silat is World Championships. In 2016 it was held in Indonesia. I dont think we got any medal in 2015 or 2016 world championship.
The Asian Championship of Singapore was invitational one where top players from Indonesia and other neighbouring countries like Brunei, Phillipines didnt participate. Thats why the credibility was not there of that result. In sports like Archery, Gymnastics, many invitational World Championships are held which are given a miss by top players. Those results should not be taken seriously.
The Indian association of Penkac Silat is barely recognised.
Similar thing happened in Sambo where association was blamed for nepotism. Some of the names were removed by IOA.
