    Amrinder will start as goalkeeper...Sunil chetri will be replaced by Gurpreet Sandhu as a striker,  this is to exploit the height advantage of Gurpreet.. Oman will be surprised as their defense have never played against a goalkeeper who now plays as a striker.. Due to this surprise,  some omani players may become unconscious..

    Even if AIFF are trying to save some money by not arranging friendlies against stronger nations, they can still hold a month long camp in August and try to play teams like Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nepal in the name of match practice!! Thats the least they can do...

    India's opponents are preparing for the upcoming World Cup cum Asian Cup qualifiers. 

    1⃣ Bangladesh ?? : Shocked everyone by getting a date with the beast of Asia, IR Iran ?? on 5th September, the day when we play against Oman (H). As per rumors, they're also contacting *Saudi Arabia ?? which is yet to be finalised. 

    2⃣ Qatar ??: The Asian champions ? recently ended their Copa America 2019 and are now looking to get some European tastes ?. 

    3⃣ Oman ??: The recently concluded Armenian Cup has boosted ⬆ the confidence of the Oman players as they performed up to the expectations. They've also played against Afghanistan ?? and thrashed them 5⃣-0⃣ ?

    4⃣ Afghanistan ??: They'll be participating in the CAFA Cup 2019 (similar to SAFF) where they'll face the likes of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The Armenian Cup saw the team played against Oman ?? as well where they lose brutally. 

    And since there's no official International Break in the month of August, do you want to see the Blue Tigers ? in action in an unofficial match against a top side or just want to relax a bit so that everyone can recover ?

    Do you mean AIRMARINE cup ?? It is concluded in March 2019 way prior to our intercontinental cup ... 
    So far there are no Planned international friendlies for Oman..

    Regarding CAFA Cup 2019.. Is Uzbekistan confirmed their participation.. 

    Regarding Bangladesh.. its unofficial friendly I guess.. however, we need to appreciate Bangladesh Football Federation...

    reg your last point... it should be fine even if it is unofficial friendly as long as we are getting tougher opponent...
