We are going to face Syria in intercontinental cup... but not sure if they are sending their first team or not... Our coach needs to fix left & right back.. we have exposed very badly against Thailand... Syria would have punished us
What is the status of that West and South Asia Football Federation started by Saudi Arabia and which India joined in late 2017? Is it still functional? If yes tgen maybe we can get matches against the west asians in one of the tournament organised by the new federation.
"Indians will continue to dominate South East Asian. Physically we are much stronger and better. Even if you look at recent results against West Asians - Bahrain(0-1), UAE(0-2), Oman(0-0) & Jordan(1-2) we are slowly closing the gap. However we are still technically inferior. "
Adil khan was so good. The footballing gods did not forgive the old coach for not including him in Asia Cup and rightly he got to go...Had India got to next round of Asia Cup, the old coach would have continued.... if only he had watched the ileague matches where Adil khan was the CB for Churchill bros, he would have taken him....
Hope Stigor brings on Seriton or Sarthak Golui for Bheke and Ashique Kunriyan back to the squad who can excel in this style of play for Intercontinental cup

Under him the players started passing the ball a lot more on the ground (there was the occasional punt upfront from defense to strikers completely bypassing the midfield but those were reducing), players had developed a great counter attacking style which suited the abilities of Indian players, there was much more high pressing. Compared to the footballing style we played under bob haughton or koverman, Constantine's team was much better. If only he had selected better players...
