@SiV But also you consider the fact about diversity in BFC fan base.
BFC Fan base is people who are all over India and working there. I guess the fan base itself dont care if a kannadiga is to ever step up. It's mostly a mixed group from all over south. Tamilnadu. Keralites are all involved.
But BFC should try to retain 50% from southern region atleast like @EastBengalPride said to have that involvement organically, Or else his event manager has to go to north east to create fans.
This is nothing but quota system, a system we all trying to get rid of from time immemorable. IMO club should sign talent and potential showing players irrespective of geography. Also we do have many state clubs/academy for grooming local talents for ex Salgaocar, Dempo or the likes. These young players get ample amount of playing time under these clubs which is essential for their mental and technical growth.
IMO these local clubs are way better in grooming talent then top level club academies where major focus is on winning or surviving league.
Although I do believe that we should have proper state leagues in place. I can only think of Goa, Kolkata, Kerala, and north eastern states having proper state league system in place. Others states also need to catch up for a proper so that young talents can be groomed and later scouted by top Indian clubs.
CCFC doesn't have money. The owner is passionate but doubt he can afford ISL. They moved to a different city because they couldn't afford paying rent at JLN Chennai and make decent money consistently selling players to other clubs. They also released their Spanish players recently during Corona
The masala and circus of ISL wouldn't suit clubs like Aizawl, Real Kashmir, CCFC who operate on a very small budget
You are saying the heir of Hindu group doesn't have money and Abhifuckinhshek Bacchan has? He is from a business family, he won't invest unless he knows what he can get back. If he can rope in other partners, CCFC would play ISL just like Aizawal or any other club.
Its not about who has money or not ... its about whether anyone wants to invest in Indian football which is shithole.. Lets assume jindal net worth is 7billion USD, theoretically, they can simply give 100million USD which is equivalent to FSDL master agreement and run Indian league any way they wish(and still they wont feel any financial burden of it)...but they dont cos they are smart and knows where to invest...same goes for others or potential partners
@EastBengalPride His family runs the Hindu news paper and not him and him being heir doesn't mean he has all the family money.
CCFC delayed payments for a few months during their first season of I-LEAGUE. He can't afford to pay rent for JLN Chennai and his film production studio wasn't successful.
The operate at a show string budget and would afford losing 5-10 times the money they spend in I-League
KBFC have cleared all pending salaries of their all players and staff. Only some of coaching staffs are remaining. Because of some issues regarding transaction.
With isl clubs objecting to reduction in foreigners, a better option would be to start the All Indian isl Reserves League..... The matches can be played after the isl match....
It will be like having 10 Arrows team and will provide strikers for the national team... Even in a 3+1 set up, striker, playmaker & 2 CBs will be foreigners....
Guess, this should solve the problem of gam time for talented footballers sitting in isl bench,... Sunil Chetri too proposed this ...
U get 60 elite isl footballers, 150 reserve footballers & another 60 skilful footballers in ileague to select for the national team.....
