i don't think so, east bengal did anything worse than dempo. Those who watched east bengal play in afc knows how well eb performed against much better oppositions than them. Sometimes results don't show you the true picture.

I don know why every member of indianfootball network is behind east bengal's afc cup performance. I think this season eb performed exceptionaly well. They were in a tough group. Just watch any match video of chonburi or persipura. And i think you can see the difference. They are much better sides and deservedly qualified for the knock outs. East bengal did whatever they could have. It's like oppositions were too good. East bengal's afc performance deserves appriciation not criticism.
