Its mostly a shit team, full of over aged under talented players who will bring disgrace to the nation and AIFF is solely responsible for this. Only good thing about this WC is the infrastructure and may be, just may be, we get another Bhutia or Chhetri kind of player emerge.

We will concede as many goals as the opponent's will please, they will probably ease up after scoring 3 or 4 and allow the Indians to play a little. That's my expectations, you may think that as negetivity but to me that's just realism. Different perspectives, that's all.

Am confused here as to the purpose of this forum. When u have people go to matches and comment which is there right there is a right for others to disagree.

Simple as that. Nothing personal or throwing bad light on others.

Btw @Goalkeeper you can contribute to comments instead of  your spamming shit on everyone.

It's "Praises" not phrases. Am sure u have gone to school enough to read each post before coming to a conclusion?

Try to read slowly and then understand what I have posted.
Don't rant just for rant sake.

On a side note I like your Superman logo, describes your persona maturity perfectly in a Indian football forum.

To some extent I support @DX. Here peoples expectation with this Indian team amazed me. Neither we have proper structure of football nor we have proper coaching sense in the ground level. I saw every player in their interview saying that we doesn't have that much knowledge of football, we just use to play football in our local club ground. That means they are not product of any academy. Now comparing the other countries like USA, Spain, Germany we are nowhere near to them in terms of expertise their players get at the youth level. So Criticizing the team blindly actually you deny the reality. When we draw against chile you come up with the age fraud theory, when we lost against a team you questioning the quality of the team all these are sign of double standard. Without proper structure of football if you think we gonna beat USA and other teams in our group then you are FB material not others. If you think collecting some bunch of people and trained them hard will be enough for World cup then stop living in the fools world. And last but not the least, India is my country and I will support them in the world cup no matter what the result will be. Because I live in reality not any fools world.

“I refused Mali. They wanted to play two friendlies, one on September 16 and the second one four days later. They are a physically strong and power team. Mali is too much of a risk because we don’t even have two players for each position. Closer to the World Cup, it’s a risk to play such matches,” said Matos.

  • well this point is valid from him. though I would have loved to see how we fare against tough opponents, it might also lead to injuries and hamper our preparations. when we played our last match and lost, was it first 11 who played or was Matos checking on the rest of the players for his final 21

  • I agree with matos in this respect. Whatever preparations we have had, we should have played similar opponents as much as possible. But not just prior to a big tournament like World Cup
