I know Rudra said that USFC and Royal are not ready but COME ON ROYAL AND USFC! Also come on AIZAWL!
I said they might not be ready as they have not been able to utilize home advantage and their team not any stronger than ONGC etc.... in any case they can just perform well, qualify and prove me wrong...
But after @ashindia said that ONGC might shift to Delhi, I am not as disapointed as i wud have if they remain in Mumbai... of course one would want a team like USFC or RWFC or Aizawl... but if they cant make it they need to put a lot of effort, and this time not only in promotion but in team building, getting good coaches etc

I would be okay with ONGC but just moving to Delhi wont do much. I want them to move to Delhi and revamp the team, Delhi Oilers FC or something (or better yet have a name contest so the fans get to vote on the team name) and I want them to market there team. These are grown men who want a team in the top football league in India. If you want to play you make sure you get others to watch and know you. This is not 1996-2011 Indian football where all you need is 11 men and a stadium to play. Many things need to be done and a lot should be done.
As of this moment USFC and Royal seem to be the only contenders in the league to do this.
There would be major changes I-league next season. I am sure the company owned clubs will be forced to associate with a city. Something like ONGC Delhi Warriors. That would be a good thing. But I agree with @ashindia. AIFF needs to promote the league in as massive scale as WSH at least otherwise no name change will do
USFC and Royal Wahingdoh, both represent Sikkim. But from what I hear, RWFC are more popular in Sikkim than USFC even though the latter has the name of Sikkim in it. The main reason is the community activities. Also USFC doesn't promote local talent as much as RWFC does
