In a repeat of the Federation Cup fiasco the AIFF and their brain dead counter parts at Madhya Pradesh FA have shifted Group A games from Bhopal to some remote town on Singodi !

Hope some teams haven't booked flights/hotels already , as Singodi is supposed to be 300 mms or 8hrs by road from Bhopal... =))

Stupid fuckin AIFF I-League commitee , when will you ass-holes learn
  • Ah, so the stupidity of the 2nd Division begins now. This will be interesting.

Still not the best signing. Spent most of his career in Nepal and at one point in Bhutan.

Dont be surprised. In January they signed a guy who they actually believed was a former Cameroon youth international who played in the 2009 U20 World Cup and who played in the 2nd Division in the United States.

Both facts proved false and ironically that player "left" the club a month later.

I swear Delhi United are becoming the next United Sikkim early. Showing the immaturity of the club early.

Yes. The venue has been shifted to Singrauli it seems. But there is still a month to go. I guess it wont be  a problem for the teams as many of them have just started to 'assemble' a team.
  • Yes I was surprised earlier for Bhopal as It is more of a hockey city. I dont know about any decent football stadium in Bhopal. But teams will be happy with Singrauli. Close to Varanasi airport and so many trains come from Calcutta. Singrauli is industrial city-Super thermal power plants, coal mines and those jumbo companies have built guest houses and stadiums so it will be okay I guess.

    AIFF decision justified i guess..
hopefully it is good decision and mainly it avoids the controversial home advantage to certain sides

With as many as four I-League slots available for next year, the second division would be followed with great interest by the Indian football fans. Every season, two I-League teams get relegated and two second division clubs get promoted.
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) recently declared that the Executive Committee will bid for two new clubs in the 2013/14 edition of the I-League. It has been learnt that if the AIFF fail to secure any new interests, four clubs from second division might be promoted to the I-League.
There are three 2nd Division I-League preliminary round groups comprising of 26 teams which will be played from March 9 to April 5, 2013 across the country with the top two clubs from each group reaching the final round, while from there two teams will gain promotion to the next edition of the I-League.

What if all the 4 clubs are from Kolkata ??? Will they be responsible for suicide of fans like me then ?
