Pune has so many I-league and AFC cup games to be played there. Now 2nd division also there? I wonder if turf will hold on for so many games.    Bangalore would have been better choice-atleast fans there get an opportunity to see some football action.

    Fans? What fans?

Lansning and Rangdajied United will bring North east student community at Bangalore. I remember last time Shillong Lajong played there and it was like a home match for them. they are huge there.  besides they will keep on last minute postponing of 2nd division games at Pune becoz of AFC Cup and I-league.

i may be wrong but lot of north east people from Bangalore have moved back to north east since there was some problem

They came back within a week. That was more becoz of  rumour mongering by media.

yes are specially poriat and raia are grass and much much better turf compare to what we see in u-20 and 2nd division and even recently held federation cup

Goa would have been a great choice. I guess they want a neutral place. As Vasco is playing, they cant organise it in Goa.

Vasco will play only if Mumbai Tigers play fair. If they lose to Southern Samity, then Vasco is out.

  • Goa would have been perfect for the 2nd Division. I guess the DSK facilities will be used for the 2nd Division now.

There are plenty grounds with good natural turf in Salcette. But there are no stands here. Thats why I named only 3 with stands.

Do they have any stadium??  training lawns/gyms are fine but DSK do not have a proper stadium.

To be honest it is only 2nd Division. Just create space for standing spectators and there you go. I doubt the AIFF really care about the 2nd Division anymore if they just gave it randomly to Pune. And DSK and AIFF are in planning together with DSK having plenty of former Pailan Arrows players on their squad. Sadly those former Pailan players failed them but still it seems that DSK and AIFF are still planning something.
