Prayag wont move out of Bengal for some reason. It is stupid but there you have it.

Pailan should move however despite their base being in Bengal. Bangalore would be perfect.

Both Prayag and Pailan are Bengal based companies. so they will stay put in Calcutta. I hope some day company from Bangalore sponsor Arrows and they can move out.

But that is the point and something I hate about India. Just because the company is based in Bengal does not mean the team has to as well. It is so fucking stupid, I do not know where to start.

Prayag & Pailan not only based in bengal their hole buisness is in bengal. Thats they won't sponser a team outside bengal.

Why will somebody spend to popularise a brand that does not exist in that area. Its absurd. So we cant expect Pailan and Prayag to move out.

As for UB, they dont require any advertising for their brand. It sells like hotcakes. But maybe one of EB or MB could move to Bangalore. No more chaos of derby then. :P

  • Well then... what now? Prayag United and Pailan Arrows are commiting suicide by staying in Kolkata. I dont care what Prayag's facebook secretary Nabab Bhattacharya says, they wont survive with the small fan base they have.

Well they are localised companies-Real estate, food processing, education, . They do not have strong presence outside Bengal so they will not sponsor anything which is not creating any buzzword outside their area of influence that is West Bengal. Now UB sells their alcohol across India so even though they are bangalore based, they will sponsor in other cities. Venky's are Pune based but they want to enter European market, so they became Blackburn Rovers owners.  DSK is local Maharashtra Pune based real estate builders-it will be hard to convince them to sponsor some club in delhi. But well Oregon based Nike sponsors Indian Football.

Well Nike is a world-wide company so no surprise. And I can understand that. Which could again be another reason to start direct-entry clubs and franchising. However I dont know, maybe I am wrong... maybe I am not ;) :p

Eagles FC 2-2 Hindustan FC (FT)

EFC: Rino Anto (Pen) 85', Satheesh 87'

HFC: Andrea Silva 37', Mahener Singh 64'

  • Southern Samity 1-0 Mumbai Tigers at half-time.

Vasco could be eliminated and half of the teams in the Final Round could all be Kolkata sides.

Eitherway, at least 1 city will get another team so the pan-India project is failing.

    SM: Suraj Mondal 9'.
    MT: Md Rafi 70'
