A great news : Final Phase of I-league2 and U20 I-league will be double leg basis. This is great news as now I-league 2 would be more competitive. And some more welcome changes taking place.

top 6 teams on i-league 2nd div playing in home away basis is a good move by aiff...nice move by the federation as it will reduce the cost of league and also give the league a more competitive look too...

I don't mean to be a downer here but I am happy about this by the AIFF. In fact I hope that its home and away for the Final Round this year and then in 2013 have it home and away for all the teams. (single table) But my question is how long will teams have to prepare there stadiums if they make the final rounds. Where will they play. Before this was not a problem but now it is and not at the best time for teams also.
Also as for Under-19 League I am happy with there decision but I hope the realize that the group and final round shit can be scrapped. Just have a 13 team I-League U19 and have them play each other twice, 24 games. And have the matches on Mondays and Thursdays, after the I-League fixtures over the weekend and mid-week and also have the u19 teams travel with the senior team so the Senior team plays on a Saturday and the u19s play on a Monday at the same venue that the seniors played. That is as money saving as the thing the AIFF is doing.

Either way though good job
Nice suggestions.. With this AIFF can really save money and time in organizing the matches of each team..
