Great Great!! I just hope CMG pissed with the strangulation of PLS will throw in all its efforts to make NEPL (damn sounds like Nepal!) a grand thing. This will make the WB sports minister look like a looser
<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">I just hope the CMG dont make it like BPLS. NEPL should have the main goal of developing North-East Football, not celebrities.</font><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2"><br></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">Anyway I hope NEPL will be the first in a series of Zonal Leagues across India. Next is South, North, East, and West. </font></div>
India badly requires zonal leagues!!! Specially in Western(except Goa), Southern and Northern India. Current way of state teams playing is not able to get best out of all regions. Regional leagues is the need of the our. As someone mention ideal Football Pyramid in India would be<div>1) I-league</div><div>2) I-league division 2 (running for whole year, instead of two months)</div><div>3) Regional leagues (top teams from each league should qualify for division two by replacing the previous years regional teams) </div>

<br><div><br></div><div>If we were to do that then we would have to do what Japan does and that is give out a membership to the regional teams. If the regional team gets promotion but does not have a membership then they cant get promoted.</div>
