I am not in the complete know of things, @munna219777 but I will try to provide some clue based on @sourav's statement.

"East Bengal Club will play cricket, athletics, hockey and all other sports under the umbrella of the newly formed company "Sree Cement East Bengal Foundation" and using same team name that is Sporting Club East Bengal or SC East Bengal"

Dis this happen in the case of Kingfisher or Quess. Did Kingfisher or Quess take charge of cricket, athletics, hockey and other sports? Not sure.

However, I seem to faintly remember that Quess did take charge of the cricket team too, it was supposed to pump in a certain sum of money which they allegedly failed to do. This created a lot of blood between the EB management and Quess during the time of termination.

Yes ramit da. You are absolutely spot on. Just read my previous comment and it should clear all the doubts regarding the naming of the team.

@munna219777 There is an ISL policy which dosent allow any sponsor name in team name for example JSW Bangaluru fc which is the actual name of BFC which can't be used in ISL but can be used in AFC tournament's  as to not violate exclusive sponsorship deals by FSDL, Shree Cement Foundation has name East Bengal as SC East Bengal to bipass this policy of ISL, thats why it's SC East Bengal not Shree Cement East Bengal

Similar to RB Leipzig. Like ISL, even the statutes of the DFB does not permit corporate names to be included along with the club name. So they use 'Rasen Ballsports Leipzig' instead of Red Bull Leipzig.

Heard a rumor that East Bengal practice ground may get shifted to Don Bosco, where FC Goa is currently going through their preseason activities. However, FCG too shifting their base to the allotted Salvador do mundo from 8th of this month. That would vacate Don Bosco for the rest of the season, and it's been learned that due to the excessively long distance between the SESA ground to the Hilton hotel, East Bengal has already requested FSDL to consider their move to Don Bosco facilities, which is much closer to their residential base. Although final approval from the organisers is yet to be received.
