somdev is india no1 player ,he won NCAA championship twice
ya he did won it twice and that was the main reason why he got the attraction from indian media as well ..that was the reason why some have also thinking of taking the similar steps to go for this dual of educational course as well following dream
Ya, he made the tennis championship twice. But what I am talking about is the Soccer program. That is tough to make (for a high end college). If I was an Indian who wanted to play here and attend college I would attend a good college (any college, can be as time consuming as you want) and over the summer play for your local USL Premier Develoment League team (4th division in America) which is the TOP-amateur league in America. It is meant for youth players and is only a summer league. Most of the MLS players who get drafted played in the USL PDL as preperation for college (you can do both college soccer and play in the USL PDL).

hmmm, never heard of them. Either way I said that it would be tough, not that its impossible.

Akron is my dream.
Akron, Maryland, Wake Forest, BYU (not in college league, they are a PDL team), and North Carolina.
They can make D1. I think though they should look for D1 teams ranked in the 20s or 30s. Remember that D1 College Soccer has 200 teams.
