Again sanju pradhan misses out along with Naoba,lalkamal and Arnab Mondal..still no Mehtab Hussain and Raju Gaikwad..

GK Department :- No issue with this department as we have good depth here.

Defence :- As Ronny mentioned why include those players(in red) they are useless and I expected good center backs like Gurwinder,Anas,Arnab.Gurjinder is a deserved call-up and Noaba should have been called-up instead of Samir.Adil Khan is a utility player can play anywhere in Defence and Midfield so good choice.I'm also disappointed with height dont know how they'll stop Super Mario(Gomez)(189cm tall),then in set pieces Van Buyten(196cm),Badstuber(189cm) and Muller(186cm).

Midfield :- There are lot of good midfielders who missed the flight here,Masih and Baldeep have been called back and I guess we need them to stop a team like Bayern which includes physical giants.

Forward :- I'm not disappointed with Sushil's inclusion but I feel there are better forwards in the country and Sabeeth is not good.Without Sunil upfornt India is definitely going to pay a big price.

Naoba Singh is injured and out for a month so the exclusion is understood but I am surprised Sanju Pradhan does not merit a place but Vashum does. Vashum post injury layoff has been a pale shadow of his churchill days, holds the ball too much (in the pailan match Trevor Morgan kept on yelling at him to release the ball before he gets hustled off it, then he got frustrated at Vashum's stubbornness and replaced him ) I feel Sanju can use the wings far better than Vashum.

Mehtab is another surprise exclusion and Felix in goalkeeping is nothing amazing, Pavan Kumar of Air India is far more agile than Felix. Being a goanese, he cannot leave behind his parochiality, can he ?

Looking at the squad, I guess Savio once again wanted to go with tried and tested players rather than giving chance to completely new players. Most of them have one time or other have played/attended national team camp. Also, it seems that Savio's knowledge about players playing in non goanese club is very limited. He needs to increase his scouting knowledge about other teams especially kolkata and maharastra teams.
Most surprise decision was to inclusion of Climax and leaving Mehtab.

Goalkeeping: I dont mind but I think that Arnab Mondal of Pune FC should have been picked. Ever sense he came Pune have went from relegation to top 4 hopefulls.

Defense: SAVIO WTF! Govin Singh, really! Samer Naik, isnt he being suspected of taking drugs. He also fucked up in his few minutes against Afghan. I like Jaspal though. We could have done better than Jaspal but he is good enough in my opinion. He gets assists and can pass well. Adil Khan, like ash said, is a great utility player. The Laurent Kocieony of India.

Basically looking at the defensive players you can tell the back line will be...
Syed Nabi, Nirmal Chetri, Gouramangi SIngh, Gurjinder Singh

Midfield: I am 50:50 on this one. I like Lalrindika, Jewel Raja, Lamare, and Miranda who to be honest earned his call up due to his great SAFF Cup. I also like Baldeep Singh as he is physical and can pass. I am not happy with Lawrence who in all honesty should have retired with Gawli, and Masih has not been good for Bagan. Also where is Vineeth, Pradhan and Kuttimani. Vashum I have not seen enough of.

Forward: Bhutia and Jeje are a given. Sushil Singh is shit. Ya he had one good goal but he still cant play. He is physically weak. Bayern players would run circles around him. Sandesh Gadkari and Manandeep Singh (both of Air India) would have been better. Even C. S. Sabeeth is shit. He only has 2 goals. And he is the striker on Pailan.

Anyway I can see our line-up:
