Though I want to see the more young guns in the team, I think Savio did a good job. Against a team like Bayern, experience counts. Also it's not a wise decision to put the new players against one of the best team in the world with little or no practice. It takes quite a long time to get used to the team setup. Using too many new combinations at one time can be destructive for one friendly match like Bayern. Its also harmful for the players as a big defeat will demoralize and weaken their confidence in the long run. I am sure the other players will be called in for the AFC challengers.
But I am also surprised to see Rakesh Masih in the team. We have better performers than him in India.

Match is probably last for players like Samir,Climax even though its a farewell match for Bhutia.Playing with completely new team will only demoralize young inexperienced players as we very well know about Bayern Munich's capabilities.
Masih is playing okay in I-League,his physical presence will add some much needed steel in Indian line-up.
I dont expect wonders in this match,I expect India to lose atleast by 5 goals with 0 scored.
only wish from me is that our team should have a possession of at least over 35% ...and if we are able to score one goal that would just be great <!-- s:pray: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/eusa/pray.gif" alt="" title="Pray" /><!-- s:pray: -->

Well hopefully Bayern Munich will not put in all there effort in the game. If they did it would be 7-0.
Dont know why Mehtab is not picked. He will be of trmendous importance against any good team just because he is a snatcher and a snatcher is required in midfield to kepp the pressure in the defense lesser.

Maybe its a mental problem. It kinda showed with the fight with Tolgay
Actually i dont agree to mental thing..& also any player who is a tough tackler(which is necessary for blocking), will be shown more number of cards than anyone else..it can be disaster in a few matches (because of card effect), but is most matches he will be the match winner in true sense.

Ya my mistake. I was editing the Arnab Mondal wikipedia page while typing that comment. My mistake but ya I think Abhra Mondal should be there.
