Actually i dont agree to mental thing..& also any player who is a tough tackler(which is necessary for blocking), will be shown more number of cards than anyone else..it can be disaster in a few matches (because of card effect), but is most matches he will be the match winner in true sense.
What I mean by mental is off the field not on the field.

if i am not wrong even bayern wont be pushing that hard to thrash our team while they would give the crowd the quality display and get them more fans from india ....cant wait for this historic match in india just that i would be watching the match in tv is a bit sad for me...

My friend,Iam not a pessimist,really,and I have been following Our Indian football for d past 5 or 6 years.And you are right d score wont be dat huge; as its a CLUB friendly.U see our match against Zambia, it showed our full minuses.There's no scope for improvement in this team of mainly aged superseniors.In Asian cup, we atleast showed a fighting spirit.U wont see dat in dis match.After every match, Savio will have a reason for d defeat;dis time too u can hear it.
People might call us pessimist but seriously we have no chance against a very strong Bayern who are certainly one of the favs to win UEFA CL this year.Well just hope we manage to attract more fans and media attention for Indian team from this match.
bayern wont play very hard and may go for 2-3 goal victory as far as my prediction goes-
reasons are:-
1. this is club friendly and not a serious encounter for their players to givee their full effort
2. this is an excellent chance for them to get some attraction to indian football so that they get more chance to play in the country and eventually increasing their fan base
3. they would be hoping get an eye on indian national players too so that if any is good they may get him under their team(for this they need to allow us to play comfortably,so they would be playing a bit lighter football for our players to show their talent too)
In all their main aim is get the best of fan-following and in the end good amount of merchandise sales and if best possible some good young players too....
so dont expect a rampage....(i mean 6+ goals)
i was very happy when i first found out about the Friendly in Nov. but After thrashing against Zambia and seeing afghanistan dominate india in saff cup i dont care to even see this friendly .. same team selection same results ..
