Yeah and I hope they strengthen the team with some decent signings!
  • Well I still hold hope that expansion is brought to I-League and I hope Golden Threads Group is interested in starting a club along the lines of Golden Kerala FC.

the main think i want is that this league be converted into a league cum knockout format for the betterment of these leagues as these knock out tournaments are not gonna help the club grow in long times

Agree. Make it like the Nagaland Premier League. Have 10 selected teams play each other twice and only use 3 stadiums. Also make sure it is only u23 players on the squad and have the 3 outside of Kerala players.

Read an article about the origin and development of Golden Threads. Inspiring story for every football lovers. The Owner Noushad was Fact FC's Goal Keeper back in 2001-02 season. After hanging up his boots. He decided to be involved with football, to contribute something to football. in 2004 he started Golden Threads at his own risk by selling the family properties he had. He scouted himself all around kerala to buy players. Tried his best to get a sponsor for clubs for the last eight years, sad he never got one. Now the club have won a major title with a squad full of unknown players. A much needed break for the club. The Club and the man Noushad deserved some respect.
I hope they will get a sponsor soon, and can clear the debts.
