Kerala State Club Football Championship

After 17 long years Palakkad going to witness a club football championship. 37th Kerala State Club football championship to kick start from 25th March at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium,Palakkad.

24 clubs including the likes of Kerala Police,Titanium,KSEB,Cochin Port,Central Excise and the Biggies Golden Threads,Eagles,Quartz,Malabar United etc will compete for the trophy.

The tournament kickoff with the fixture between Unity Soccer vs Christ College on 25th evening. The good news is all are evening kick off's.

Final on 7th April. last years Champions Josco FC yet to decide on their participation.

Yes mate and Viva Kerala is my 2nd fav team in I-League after Dempo SC.

About Palakkad I still visit Peruvemba every year in Dec,but don't ask about my Malayalam cause I'm not good at it.

As far as footballing activity is concerned, Kerala FA and Kerala state have suddenly come on the top! I guess they were waiting for the stadium to have flodd-lights :P

Guess so,League and Knock outs! No news yet on the complete fixtures and group.

exactly, hell lot of tournaments coming in, first Nayanar Gold Cup, now Club championship. Inter-district championship,Leader's memmorial trophy and the old GV Raja football tournament are coming soon,

finally some decent tournaments,it will do good to the football clubs here,specially for the likes of Eagles, Quartz,Golden threads etc.
