A few talented pio players with exposure to some european/US lower leagues will only help the cause especially as the coach realises it will be decades before our domestic structure is in shape to produce regular quality talent for senior NT.

I fully support the govt's stance on this. Lets not hide behind decent PIOs and ignore the larger issue at hand which is improving domestic structure and football in general in India.
hong Kong, Qatar are very small entities. There own population is very low. So they need help from outside. China is not doing that. So why should we, with a 1.25 bn strong nation. It is failure from our part that we can't field a team off 11 footballers of international standards. PIOs are not any solution. Success has no short cut friends.
