    @souravindia ;
    I'll copy paste the comment made by @G_K in the FC Goa thread:

    Got some stats of FC Goa's Muhammed Nemil who is currently on loan at Spanish club FE Grama.

    He plays for FE Grama U19, which plays in 2nd tier of Spanish youth leagues (first tier has about 112 teams, while second has about 336-378 teams). His first appearance was on 09/01/21 and since then played 10 matches for the team. He scored his first goal on April and followed it with a hat-trick the next week. This gave him a call-up to the senior team which plays in fourth tier and he came on as a late substitute in the match.

    Youth team: 10 matches, 4 goal
    Senior team: 1 match, 0 goal

    He played one more match since (I guess it's the last match of the season) and scored a hat-trick.

    So that makes
    U19 team (2nd tier): 11 matches, 7 goals
    Senior team (4th tier): 1 match

    The stat that youth leagues have 112 teams in Tier1 and 336 in tier 2 is mindboggling! Specially considering the size of Spain!

    @Ronny they have communa based youth teams. People in their neighborhood represent each community. It's actually nice. The pitches are available across all over the country. Then there is every community that's buzzing to participate. Spain will be a dominant force for a long time.

    that is good to know. we should also have atleast panchayat level teams. kerala state itself has around 1000+ panchayats. there can be competions between panchayats in a district on all age levels.

    They had a short camp with all Kerala players (from both senior team & reserve team) and other youngsters like Ayush Adhikari, Naorem, Sanjeev Stalin, etc. They released everyone when the second wave of corona hit.

    Is kerala blasters reserve team active and playing in the Kerala premier league? Had read somewhere that they had disbanded... Is it true?

    They played in  Kerala Premier League this season with decent youngsters. Right mix of local and other state players.

    One thing sure about Blasters is that you'll get lots of fake rumours and fake news. Disbanding Reserve team was one fake news which spread last season. The truth is that now the team is better and has a vision. It's led by a highly respected local coach now.
