<font face="Arial, Verdana" size="2">With such huge number of issues at Pailan, Papas has done a good job of motivating players to play. Any good coach would definitely like to move give these circumstances. I happy for him. </font>

<br><div><br></div><div>The question is - is Papas himself motivated enough to continue???....his team started brilliantly; however, ever since Bagan had allegedly made a lucrative offer to him and his alleged confrontation with AIFF, he himself has lost the bite and it has taken its toll on these junior players. ...</div><div><br></div><div>It is Papas who is the only coach, I reckon , who is creating huge news in this year's Transfer season..he is linked with so many clubs : EB, Dempo, Pune.... u name any who would not be having/retaining their existing coaches, and Papas is linked to those clubs! So how can he himself be motivated to continue....?</div>
Not interested! The very fact that he has been constantly negotiating with numerous clubs shows clearly about his focus. He was being roped in by AIFF to coach the youth team and not look for coaching option in any Indian club! If he was not happy with his remunneration etc., it wud have made sense for him to thrash it out with the powers-that-be and Robb Bann. Peope should not stoop down to any level for sheer money...

<br><div><br></div><div>If the AIFF did not want him to talk to other clubs then they would have given him more than a 1-year deal. He had every right to talk to other clubs.</div><div><br></div><div>Also are you saying that he can't do both talk to other clubs and coach his team? That is the biggest bull**** I have ever heard! He is not a robot and he is not our typical Indian who just gives up once he starts talking to someone else. Papas has been motivated and helpful to all his players since his arrival. You can see the passion he enthuses in matches. He is on the touch-line from minute one, shouting instructions to his players, calling certain ones back for mini-meetings. Also you can tell he talks to them at half-time because once the second half starts Pailan plays a different game most of the time and usually it corrects mistakes from the 1st half. He has been good this season overall, there is not denying that.</div><div><br></div><div>What killed Pailan off was the quality and the fact that they could not grasp the new style of football long-term. It did not take long for other teams to find them out. </div>
