ISL franchise teams can sign up to 7 foreign players !

6 in the starting line-up ,so most will opt for 

• 2 Centre Backs
  
• 2 Centre Mids
  
• 2 Strikers
  
• & 1 Goalkeeper
  

Of those 1 has to be a marquee foreigner , and IMG-R will try to force you to take 3 foreigners from them in he draft and also force some teams to take "their" marquee players.

they still have to be approved by IMG-R

Dempo & NE Utd and maybe Delhi will get special benefits in this regard though
