ISL foreigners are no 40s There is a guy who played each and every minute of Spain's World.cup sucess more time than David Villa last played in La Liga
Another is former Athletico legend who last played in Mexico
Another is one who scored winner in France 2000 euro triumph last played in Argentine top division
Please compare them with great I-league foriegners Odafa,Chidi,Ranty,Bello who are same age of ISL marquee(Bello is nearly 40 according to gaffer)
Have our great I-league stars ever played for there country????
Apart from I-league were did they play Nigerian street soccer???????????
Or compare them with I-league marquees from English 5th tier
And as per telecast and marketing why would some one want to market a league with 4 teams from goa and Kolkata each With clubs which don't play in home ground
Surprisingly there are only 2 clubs now in Kolkata... East Bengal and Mohun Bagan. STAR Sports wanted they could have marketed the shit out of the Kolkata derby like it was the Liverpool-Everton or Man U-Man City rivalry.
VISA processing for Atletico De Kolkata's players are in full swing. The team is going to Madrid for training once the foreigners are finalised. Antonio Lopez will be present during foreign players draft.
These two signings are really looking promising...Jairo Suarez is Right Back from Santa FE which secured 4th place in Category Premiere A(Liga Postobon)
Central defender González, 30, has 11 appearances for the Colombian national squad and played in 2004 Copa America tournament. He represents Junior de Barranquilla club and has experience of playing 270 matches including teams like Chile’s Colo-Colo and home club Independiente Santa Fe.Suarez, 29, plays as right back for Colombian club Santa Fe now and represented the national U-20 squad at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games. He is an accomplished club pro, donning colours of Colombian teams America de Cali, La Equidad, Cucuta Deportivo and Fortaleza
Going back to the Dolphins... okay, you have them... do they mean anything in Goa? I know it seems that in the US for example we use nicknames randomly but the majority of the time the nicknames represent something about the city/state and I am not sure if Dolphins would do that.
Of course, you would also clash with the Miami Dolphins.
These two new foreigners are good. Hell better than what we have in I-League. Where are the ISL critics now who said we will have players who have retired or are in their 40s. Jealous creeps.
No one answer my one question - what if ISL make success and by seeing it all I league clubs shuts shop ,why they will run club in loss .. IMG official said that they are in no,mood to make ISL longer league ..
They won't shut down simply because this is the only prestigious league that we have at the moment, which runs more than ISL. Besides you said it IMG official said they are in no mood to make ISL longer. Actually, ISL is not a league, its just going to be entertainment, business, match fixing, money, parties, fun and cheerleaders.
