you mus have seen the que at federal bank broadway branch in Cochin (unfortunately i don't have the pictures ).....ok guys off to chochi to watch my first ever isl match !!!
what u r taking dude Cochin stadium is 65K and it gets about 40k average. our stadium is about 18K and it gets 17.9 as average. in goa people are standing in line from 4 am in morning tickets just stared at 10 am and got sold out with in 10 min. on BMS it got over in 2 min. I and many others didn't get tickets and our tickets are hiked double the original price. final In Mumbai is cheaper the semi final in goa. only if we had a stadium like Cochin then we would have filled it to brink.
only players making final big bucks or want to settle down will think about lifestyles or amazing tourisim. Frankly you wont have time for all these when you are playing the season esp when you dont have breathing space between matches. so screw tourism as players know ISL now is no more a place where you could just cut the line just bcos you have been a hasbeen or played at a higher level.
Take an example of Hidalgo, Barca product, Hardly a major sniff at the starting eleven, Llungberg surely wont dare step anywhere in india. Remaining marquees have barely managed to save their reputations except maybe elano.
When you have these many things going on am sure players esp when they are in the prime such as Mendoza etc., would think about staying in a team which can give you personal success than staying in teams just bcos the view from your balcony looks good.
And btw, Removal of salary caps would help create gaps between big & small teams. Esp when you are thinking of merging I-league, The teams from I-league will face a massive gap to catchup ISL teams who am sure will form a super block.
