We have a long way to go in Asia even with current U-16 players, the least we can do is move back into 140-130's ranking, start playing more friendlies. Last but not least get a coach who can get maximum out of our players irrespective of what tactics he uses.
Once we get a system into place then we can think of tactics, top coach etc. By system I meant proper youth leagues/grass-roots tournaments, minimal infrastructure, high standard coaches and organized professional league.
How good are the young batch of Indian footballers i.e. those who are U-17,U-14 and so on?? They are obviously better than current batch of national players but how good?? That is my question. What would they compare to our current generation when I rate them on a scale of 10??
Other thing which I notice in u18 boys they are not like last elite ()batch .. That batch was more in girls and Facebook.
But I hardly heard anything abt current batch. In last batch one player had GF .same girl ditch that player and get in relationship with other player ... So you can understand how was last batch going on.
Kudos to you @7negi. You can actually rate them in a comprehensive manner and know them by name (and their habits ). A lot of us football fans wouldn't be that enthusiastic. You really care for Indian football.
Basically I am club less no club from north India so I take full interest in age group teams
But on serious note current u18 stand good chance for afc qualification if they get ok ok draw but that's less possibility bcz of pathetic performance by last u19 team

Following these kids from last 2 years .
My fav player in first 2 team are Hayden ,Rakesh,Anirudh thapa ,jerry,Nijwm,Robinson singh and few more
U16 started training with Aiff at age of u13
And u18 boys started training under Aiff at age of 15 .
That's only difference... But I am hoping current u18 team to give tough fight in afc qualifiers .
There u19 league result till now
Won against sporting 2-0
Won against sesa 3-0
Won against dempo 5-1
And these boys are hungry they did not played for India officially from last 4 years ..
