I have expected only Ankit Sharma (Long Jump) to qualify for final in men athletics...
In Kazakhstan, he jumped 8.14, 8.17 & 8.19... even last year, he jumped more than 8 meters.... In high jump, 8 meters is an achievement and that too he is doing it frequently..
not sure what happened to him in Olympics, first two jumps are fouls... atleast one jump over 8 meters, would have qualified for final... he could able to manage only 7.67 m in 3rd attempt..
He is 24 years old only and we can hope he will do well in 2020 Tokyo Olympics...
