Along with SC or improved Indian Team, a big contribution for upsurge in our FIFA rankings has come due to change in qualification of World Cup / Asian Cup. Earlier our campaign used to end in 2 matches against Arab side or AFC Challenge Cup. This was 15th match today ever since qualification process started in March 2015. 3 more to go. Credit goes to AFC also.
if AFC was not planned this qualification. Useless AIFF and uninterested IMG-R wouldn't have bothered to arrange friendlies. We as a fans wouldn't witnessed so many India games.
