Someone remind me when Derrick Pereira promoted youth ??

never did so at Mahindra , when he basically had the whole Indian Senior team at his disposal...

At PFC that was one the reasons the Piramals weren't happy and asked Mike Snoei to blood more youth.... Sembol Haokip, Puia, Salam Ranjan , etc all go significant playing time under Snoei and Karim not DP !

and at Salgaocar his biggest weakness was his U-23 spot all year !!

starting to suspect Goal.com are talking money to write articles too

Wait... I don't get your money point? How and why would they be taking money for these... other than to pay writers etc.

Also... this is the guy people wanted as U23 coach at one point.

@ArsenalFann700  this is India , you want Goal.com to write a favourable article about you , you can offer him a " favour " for him to do you one in return....

@ArsenalFan700 Supporter owned-clubs don't shut shop against corporate owned clubs trying to create a community that doesn't exist.

However, if that context is taken away which is a must, financials are important for any club to run whether owned by corporates or not. Even sponsorships are dependent on success and reach, beyond obvious reasons of profitability not just in monetary terms but branding, etc of the sponsors/corporates.

Point is, financials are necessary to the extent that there is an emotional attachment of a buttload of fans and some sunny side up for the ones putting their money into the team/league/whatever. But in layman's terms it is often perceived as cash-rain from a Ambani wearing Bappi Lahiri's gold while drunk driving his Audi.
And suddenly within all delusions, solutions exist. Nope. Creating a community of football fans who would pay for the merch, attend games, follow up, create a culture, all that requires the game to be run not as haphazardly as it is being run right now.

@Domnic @DX About that well, such intellectual dishonesty to prove your mettle? Sad.
Firstly, that's an imperial stormtrooper getting a blowjob. Secondly, MUFC is a global brand. Guesses? 4/10 for saying Euro football again, and you will pass the exam.

FIFA should take note of what is happening in India. They may ban India membership for not having proper Domestic league. They removed Federation Cup because they had no place in the Calendar but now talking about 3 games for each club to make up for number of games. Sidelined all other tournaments also. Now they do not have enough clubs to play in I-league also. Still fishing for another Pune entry direct corporate?? FIFA should stop all the grants given to AIFF. Veterans league-ISL can never be official league.

I doubt that. Too much money riding on India. It's the market in times of corporate-led success of leagues all over we are talking about. Indian market is too large to neglect and too large to not expect revenue. Ideally, they should ban us for government interference though. But it's not an ideal world.

In that case, -4 for getting the continent wrong if not for not recognising what a global brand could be.
