so a new era begins in the best asian derby. a historic occasion when both the teams meet in a new tournament for the 370th time. it would have been a crime if both teams are not in same league. they complete each other. the only thing bad about this is since ISL has more reach than i league, the other viewers would have got a treat watching the atmosphere in kolkata salt lake stadium. actually i'm sure that these new ISL fans may not have seen the i league kolkata derby seriously.
even in kerala, ever one is excited about kolkata derby as many players have represented both the clubs over the time. there are fan clubs like mariners kerala, east bengal fans kerala having small number of fans. even when viva kerala used to play i league, the highest attendance would be against these kolkata clubs.
for today's match obviusly atk mohun bagan is favourtite as they are a set team with long time for preparation.
