    I was about to ask whether someone has the same quality as Elano (in the first season), in this current season and got the answer.
    Anyway who's the best foreigner this year?

    According to the ISL ratings, Marcelinho is the best. Personally I love Defederico for Mumbai City but he has been off the last couple of matches. Doutie and Lara have been great for ATK while Sissoko has been a good signing for Pune City. Vadocz has also been a decent edition for Mumbai City this season.

    Tough to say in the early going. No one stands out like Elano and Mendoza did.

    I didn't. Other than scoring goals I don't think he has done much else. Elano and Mendoza were not such one dimensional players in ISL, they created chances last two seasons, they were able to score, Elano had his leadership presence, and Mendoza was dangerous from anywhere in the attack. Alfaro has just shown that he has a good finish to him.

    Defederico in the beginning of the ISL season looked like a hybrid of Mendoza and Elano, seemingly being able to take the ball from anywhere in the midfield and dribbling his way to a good attacking position and he was able to score as well. Sadly he seems to have slowed down recently but hopefully a bit of rest can get him back to his best. On paper he is capable. Doutie, minus the previous game, has easily been in his best form in ISL since he first began in this league. Making good runs, having a good first touch on a few passes and crosses, and seemingly a good finish as well. Lara reminds me of Elano this season when he plays. Sissoko has just been a beast in the DM for Pune City. Vadocz just brings that calm midfielder presence that you want. Maybe it was wrong of me to put him in the discussion of "best in ISL"... he is easily a solid ISL foreigner though, which is what I would say Alfaro easily is.

    Best defender : Lucian Goian. Cedric Hengbart has done well as well , considering his age.

    Why are games involving FC Goa shit? Any special reason.

    The players can't run at all. Others play a better brand of football. Simply not a fan of FC Goa's play at all.

    Shouldn't we have a new ISL Week 4 Discussion thread? Anyway, FC Goa leads 1-0 over Kerala Blasters via a Julio Cesar goal.

    When ISL expands , they should look to get teams from less humid and cold areas . Here is my list ;

    01 Jammu ( Right now , min temp < 20 , humidity 50 % )
    02 Kashmir ( Right Now , min temp < 5 , humidity 50 % )
    03 Amritsar
    04 Jaipur
    05 Shimla
    06 Sikkim
    07 Hill resorts in SOuth India  :)

    Players are sweating a lot and its saps out a lot of energy leading to poor play  :(
