I walked on the grass pitch. At around 3 o'clock. It was toooo hot. When I sat on the pitch to click some pictures, my butt got a heat shock, almost burnt it black. I don't know how the players manage to play in Kolkata on artificial turf at 3pm.<div><br></div><div>Have some good news for all of us. Will publish them on IFN Blog soon. Cheers</div>

The practice ground of an i-league club.....i felt so bad that these club owners are even feeling great to update such poor quality ground
If the senior teams of some of top flight clubs get to practice in this ground then what are we expecting from these clubs in youth section??
our clubs need to give a serious look into getting some really good training grounds for the players to grow more better way in good playing conditions

they are not allowed to practice at cooperage.... this CRAPPY ground is where they actually practice :-( all mumbai teams are using somewhat similar grounds like these for practice,,,,,,the HEAVY MONSOON RAINS and POOR DRAINAGE are the most common reasons for such conditions..... only long term solution is getting more artificial turfs(highly unlikely) by the clubs..... they can even contribute and share 1 single turf if they have the will to do it

I meant when Cooperage is fully ready, like from 2013-14 onwards.

No way that is happening....as mumbai fc do have to pay to WIFA for every home matches so to pay for training is not a thing which is coming to reality.....
the clubs got two options either get an already ready facility like that of fr agnel ground or improve their respective home ground...like for mumbai fc they train in don bosco ground and make it a good level grass surface of artificial turf
