all clubs are anyway losing money...its time to think out of the box and tap the potential in small centres...<br><br>We can never take cricket head on...we need to target football centres rather than target new centres and trying to get EPL followers in the ground....it wont work with the current quality...everyone is excited with facebook and youtube but once they are in ground they are gone....<br><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setTimeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>
  • I think you got it wrong with the youtube and facebook part. When I say they need that I mean after 1 season. Does not have to be straight away. I mean what if a club comes in and has everything to be great but does not have youtube nor facebook and yet we kick them out.<div><br></div><div>I agree on the others but (in my opinion) I think we should hit areas that are presently great. Aizawl has proven to be a great market and there is already a team there. If we can get someone (or company) to partner or own the club and push more money (and the Rajiv Ghandi Stadium gets complete) then Aizawl will be our first MAJOR TEAM from outside Kolkata and Goa.</div><div><br></div><div>Then you got other proven markets like Delhi (I still believe in it), Nagpur (Although I am basing on a few games), Kozhikozide, and then after that hit the area's like Nagaland, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai.</div><div><br></div><div>Also another suggestion is that when a club forms I would not suggest having the stadium within the city. Have the stadium be just outside the city or in a part that football following is possible.</div>

I walked on the grass pitch. At around 3 o'clock. It was toooo hot. When I sat on the pitch to click some pictures, my butt got a heat shock, almost burnt it black. I don't know how the players manage to play in Kolkata on artificial turf at 3pm.<div><br></div><div>Have some good news for all of us. Will publish them on IFN Blog soon. Cheers</div>
