Our sources say that Mohun Bagan sponsors Kingfisher are trying to revamp the MMB ground so that they can organize the I League matches with smaller teams in their own ground rather than Salt Lake stadium where a sizeable crowd seems very small. They will be building dressing rooms, media room and facility for broadcasters

There is an insult to the small teams but hey it will lower game day costs
a very recent pic that i saw of JLN stadium that was made for CWG, I was stupefied! There were 2-3 feet long weeds for lack of action.. <!-- s:violence-smack: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/violence/smack.gif" alt=":violence-smack:" title="Smack" /><!-- s:violence-smack: -->
i guess 30 days of those 40 days will be used to make it usable..and in the rest 10 days action will happen!!!
I bet AIFF will take 39 days to make the stadium usable and action will happen for one day.

I thought they were trying to play at a stadium near the Pailan headquarters though
