<br><div><br></div><div>Ohh that gets bit too late after the qualifiers i guess</div>
<br><div><br></div><div>Thats what I thought but apparently the Nepal Football president who is also one of the vice-presidents of the AFC forced the tournament to 2014 for reasons the people at BigSoccer believe is so he can get Nepal ready to host it.</div>
Nepal do not have the kind of infrastructure I think. And how can ANFA force AFC and the AFC nations agree to sit and wait for Nepal to get ready? If that happens, would be ridiculous
Nepal is gonna host AFC main round??<div>that is gonna be a poor tournament then as they hardly have any infrastructure to be at that level to host a afc tournament in less than 2 years time</div><div><br></div><div>i just wish is just rumors or guesses and dont come true</div>
Thats only a rumor and a prediction from BigSoccer. It is obvious that the Nepali Football president had something to do with it and maybe thus why they postponed the tournament to 2014.<div><br></div><div>They have 2 good stadiums already. Now they 2 more in a different city.</div>
<br><div><br></div><div>1) Love the website redesign</div><div><br></div><div>2) I expect India to go through. This should be almost nothing.</div>
<br><br><br>Well i dont fancy it would be so straight forward..Gulf teams are far tougher & physical as compared to East Asian teams...I don't see India winning against Iraq..Win against Turkmenistan - yes , maybe Lebanon..not so sure about winning against UAE and Oman...Again it also depends how well AIFF prepare the team for the qualifiers.how long the lads train and understand each other & finally the winnig mentality. Should India go through to the main tournament , it will be celebrations for AIFF and Indian fans.<br><br><br>
If we choose our real u22 players then we will go through.<div><br></div><div>Gurpreet</div><div>Defence (I dont know)</div><div>Sanju Pradhan, Jewel Raja, (Someone), Lalrindika</div><div>Manandeep, Jeje</div>
its a very tough group i must say...games vs Iraq, UAE and Oman are the toughest as said above by silicon3 india could have a good chance vs lebanon and turkmens...but 6points wont be enough for anything...<br><br>i dont understand how can the tournament be held in 2014 and be called u22s as the players are born from 1991 onwards...ganesh thapa has way too much influence...with much eas nepal gets to host everything and anything aswell as their qualifiers get arranged to dates suiting them while rest of continent plays in heat of late june...<br><br>what are the prep plans of aiff? im sure they will get a camp in uae/qatar as they always do with some good friendlies...<br>
How come Ganesh Thapa has so much influence @Shah476 ?<div>AIFF has kept its plans secret if any. There has already been a lot of controversy regarding India's camps in Saudi. People even smelled nexus with the agents who arrange the camps. This happened because many questioned why India prepared in Arab while they had to play in Nepal, they could have prepared in North Bengal or Himachal Pradesh etc.</div><div><br></div>
thats what i am wondering..he is VP of AFC and somehow has lot of influence..everytime nepali club in afc president cup they host their group, same with challenge cup qlfrs, actual challenge cup and now wanting to host the afc u22s...<br><br>i think if india dont make it..then they should bid to host and qualify that way..u have the the infrastructure and afc will allow it as a way to promote the game...would be ideal for the bid of fifa u17s..<br><br>aiff is quite smart with agents and seems like they always get good deal or atleast good agents making things happen for them..the camp they had i guess was for better facilities and better opposition to prepare but yes camping in north india would have been a good option but it was cold back then..<br>
