I would give my right hand to play Ranty for my club. He is a proven thing like Odafa. At this moment no-one knows how would a new player fare, India football is a different ball game where World Cuppers (read Scooter) have failed
Not a question of whether Ranti deserves that insane money or not, but if you want to win I-League title, you got to have proven strikers like Ranti or Odafa in your squad. If one wants to be sensible and not bow down to such unrealistic wage demands, well, he should be ready to bid ta ta good bye to I-League.

<br><div><br></div><div>Dont you guys think there is sudden increase in wages only in this season like never before....which will affect the stability of both clubs and leagues..</div>

<br><div><br></div><div>Yea it is more about smart planning than buying big names...</div><div>in football you dont need 11 star players in a team but need 11 players who could combine and make a team into a star team which currently is pune fc team </div>
+1. I do agree. But to win trophies, just 11 good players will not be sufficient. You need 2-3 players who can singlehandedly win you games and also a good bench strength with capable players.
